“I Came Into IMSU Alone But Graduated With A Husband” – Pretty Lady

A lady, @Oliora Kelechi Kella has taken to facebook to share a lovely story about how she met her husband, who was her junior, in Imo state University a couple of years ago and now, they are happily married.

We say a big congratulations to the new couple!

(I came into Imsu alone but I graduated taking one of its produce along with me). HAPPY CONVOCATION TO US!!

I came into Imo State University in 2009 with the pursuit of having an MBBS in medicine..(my father’s dream) and travel out afterwards to settle with an American based husband.
But I was too ambitious I wanted to do many things at the same time!! I opted for Microbiology and got enough chance to follow up my passion in politics and the oil sector.

Though I seem like a tough politician in school, I was too decent to keep the imsu kind of relationships..and I vowed never to have any. Most importantly, I needed to secure my covenant with God till am married..Yes!!! (u read right).

I had the best kind of God-friends Ihunanya Anyanwu Amarachi Anyanwu whose repute I imitate since I got into the University, so there was no time to keep up with the bad ones..

I newly elected Director of Projects, Imo State Students, thanks to Hon Barclay Williams Odionye and was on my way for a prayer session at ETF block, Imsu which I was taking the lead of the day when I met my husband, the president of the association I was elected into. He kept looking at me like we’ve been friends for years.

I left him on the friends zone for months and used him as my lunch ticket..�� he kept buying.. Seriously I didn’t see any thing that could make me date him and worst I was ahead of him in school..final year verses 300L boy.

I even disliked him, Lol. I didn’t know when I fell in love with him, it just happened I couldn’t stop my heart.. I graduated and needed to leave town but he insisted until after he married me.

And like play like joke, we are married 3/3 done.. Traditional, Court and white wedding all settled. I matriculated alone but today we are having our CONVOCATION together also serving our fathers land together in Lagos… I thank God I studied in Imsu, if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have met my husband… So, Don’t dull, enrol in imsu today.

Suspected herdsmen kill traditional ruler, wife and others in Kogi

A traditional ruler in Kogi state, the Onu Agbenema, Musa Edibo, his wife and eight others have been reportedly killed by suspected herdsmen duirng an attack on Agbenema, Aj’Ichekpa, Opada and Iyade villages, today Monday March 19th.

According to reports, the gunmen who were in large numbers and armed with sophisticated weapons, first set the homes of their victims ablaze and then opened fire as they fled their homes. The herdsmen also slit the throats of some of their victims and cut off their vital organs.

Residents of the affected communities accused the military officers stationed in their state of not being helpful during the attacks.

We were surprised when we approached the soldiers who were stationed at the Guest House at Abejukolo for assistance. They refused to act professionally, as they used their vehicle to block us from advancing to the troubled spot to help our people. They have razed down Ojuwo Ajomayeigbi, Iyade, Agbenema and Opada villages. We want the world to come to our assistance before they exterminate and inherit our land.” a resident said

Student killed during cult clash in University of Calabar

A clash between two rival cult groups in the University of Calabar, Cross River state, has left one student dead.

The clash began on March 15 and continued on March 16, reports say. The gun fight culminated in the death of a student. 

The school security are reortedly trying to track down those responsible for the conflict in the school.

Couple commit suicide after their families refused to accept their marriage

The bodies of a young couple was discovered hanging from a tree at Madarganj upazila in Jamalpur, Bangladesh in a suspected suicide.

Locals discovered the bodies of Sujan Mia, 25, and Joya Akhtar, 22, from Nalachhiya village under the upazila on Wednesday. They immediately informed the  Madarganj police who responded and brought down the bodies. When the families of the couple did not show up at the police station, police filed an unnatural death case and sent the bodies to Jamalpur General Hospital for autopsies. 

Police suspect the couple committed suicide after their families refused to accept their marriage.

Woman Jogs Naked In Order To Look Young (18+)

A Ukrainian jogger enjoys running through the snow naked.

Inna Vladimirskaya, 32, says that she jogs and swims in the snow every weekend for the past nine years because, she believes that the freezing temperatures are what keep her looking young and healthy.

This brave swimmer certainly has a brrracing workout each weekend – she skinny dips in one of the coldest rivers in Europe – which regularly plummets to temperaturess of -9C.

The thrill-seeker says she’s been carrying out the bizarre ritual for nine years – often alongside her husband – because she believes the freezing temperatures keep her looking young and healthy.

Inna said:-

‘Every week I take a run in the snow naked and then plunge into the water.

Immersion in cold water makes the blood rush to the internal organs, activating their circulation, which helps break down fat and improve muscle tone.

It also helps beat muscle and joint pain and rejuvenates my skin, because of the increase in oxygen supply to it.

Her swim was captured on camera by Czech photographer David Tesinsky – who had heard of her ‘crazy’ ritual from locals who see her skinny dipping every weekend.

‘The walrus looks much younger than its actual age, because it spends so much time in cold water.

‘Humans can reap the same benefits if they are prepared to put the hard work in.

‘I just make sure I don’t stay in the water too long, and as soon as I am out I dry myself and go straight to my warm car.’

Drunk Motorist Kills Four, Injures 16 In Lekki Toll Gate Crash

Tragedy struck on Sunday at the Lekki Toll Gate, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos State, after the driver of a Lexus sport utility vehicle, Gbeminiyi Odeniyi, rammed into a commercial bus.

While two persons died on the spot, two others reportedly died at the Lagos Island General Hospital, Marina, where they were taken to for treatment.

A total of 16 others, which included passengers of the commercial bus and Odeniyi, were severely injured.

PUNCH Metro learnt that some bus drivers mobilised to stage a protest against the management of the toll gate, but shelved the idea after realising the accident was caused by the driver of the vehicle, who was suspected to be drunk.

The General Manager of LASEMA, Adeshina Tiamiyu, said the agency received a distress call on the accident around 6.49am.

He explained that LASEMA mobilised other agencies to the scene, including policemen from the Maroko division, operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, officials of the State Environmental Monitoring Unit and Lagos State Ambulance Service.

According to Tiamiyu, investigation by the agency’s response team at the scene showed that the Lexus GX470, with the number plate, Lagos KJA 615 DF, was driving against traffic when it rammed into the commercial bus, with the number plate, KJA-615DF.

The commercial bus was reportedly coming from the Ajah area and had been cleared to pass the toll gate when the accident happened.

“A total of four fatalities were recorded, including three adult males and an adult female. Sixteen casualties with severe injuries were rescued, including four adult females and 12 adult males. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the Lagos Island General Hospital, Marina.

“Emergency and security operatives were involved in traffic management (to forestall the occurrence of a secondary accident), crowd control, medical care to casualties and moving of victims to the general hospital and the Trauma Centre at the toll gate for further treatment.

“The two victims who died at the scene were handed over to SEHMU, while the remaining two were later confirmed dead,” he added.

He said wreckage of the vehicles were handed over to officials of the toll gate, who moved them to the Maroko Police station.

The LASEMA boss advised motorists to drive with caution when on highways and abstain from taking alcoholc beverages before driving.

He added that motorists should also ensure that their vehicles were roadworthy before embarking on journeys to avoid unnecessary loss of lives

“This particular incident will be investigated by security operatives, while the state government will ensure prosecution of the culprit to serve as a deterrent to errant motorists,” he added.

10 die in Multiple car crash in Abuja

Ten persons reportedly died yesterday at Nyanya, a suburb of Abuja, following multiple road crashes that happened at 9.30am, close to the popular Nyanya Tipper Garage, involving truck belonging to a soft drink company and two others belonging to a construction company.  

An eyewitness told Saturday Telegraph that the accident might have been caused by a brake failure of the truck heavily loaded with clippings and was descending the Kugbo hill. The eyewitness, who craved anonymity, said the truck lost control and hit several other vehicles.  

He said: “It was at that process that the second truck, which was equally loaded with chippings, ran into the soft drink truck, which was as well loaded with crates of drinks and some other vehicles and fell inside Tipper Garage and empty its content.”

Confirming the accident, Nyanya Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Micheal Agu, said the actual number of the casualties could not be ascertained, as rescue operation was still ongoing. He, however, stated that many people who were affected had been rushed to both Nyanya General Hospital and the Asokoro District Hospital. Another eye witness account has it that “the num-ber of people who died in the accident and those who sustained injuries were not immediately available.

Two soldiers who were controlling traffic after the first accident were said to have died on the spot after the second truck lost control and hit them. “Some injured persons were taken to Nyanya General Hospital, and some to Asokoro (General) Hospital. I can’t say now their number. But two soldiers were hit and they died instantly,” the person said.  As at the time Saturday Telegraph visited the scene of the accident, there was free flow of vehicles, FRSC officials, soldiers, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Vehicle Inspector Officers (VIO) took over control of traffic in the area.

Young lovers found dead at their friend’s house in Delta State after inhaling generator fumes

The Delta State Police are investigating the mystery behind the death of two young lovers who were found dead at their friend’s house in Sapele, Delta State.

According to friends who took to social media to mourn the young couple, Matthew and Bose were found dead yesterday morning in the apartment of a friend where they went to sleep in Mosogar, Sapele.  

The duo were said to have gone out to buy Suya on Thursday night before the boyfriend took Bose to his friend’s house where they passed the night. According to reports, the lovebirds slept in the sitting room while the friend slept in the bedroom. Th friend, it was gathered, discovered they were dead the next morning.  

Their corpses have been deposited at the mortuary and the owner of the house detained by the police. According to reports, some people are saying the pair may have died from the Suya they ate the previous night while others are saying they may have died after inhaling generator fumes.

Delta State Big Boy Declared Wanted For Multiple Robberies In Ghana

A 29-year-old suspected leader of a vicious robbery gang terrorizing Accra, Ghana, identified as Kess Billions, has been declared wanted.

According to the Ghanaian police, Kess led his gang to rob a bureau de change on the 31st of January, 2018, and carted away a huge sum of money.

His gang again attacked a company on the 16th of February, 2018, and left with a huge sum of money. He is believed to be currently hiding in Aflao, Ghana or Nigeria.

44-year-old Islamic cleric jailed six years after defrauding a client seeking promotion of N4.2m

A Tinubu Magistrate’s Court, Lagos State, has found a 44-year-old Islamic cleric (Alfa), Taiye Gasali, guilty of N4.2m fraud and sentenced him to six years’ imprisonment.  

His victim, a supervisor at NIPCO Filling Station, Apapa, Lagos State, Waheed Faleti, was also given three months’ community service by the court in a judgment delivered by Chief Magistrate K.B. Ayeye on Tuesday.

The money was said to be the proceeds of sales made at the filling station which Gasali collected for spiritual prayers.  PUNCH Metro learnt that the duo were neighbours at Owode, in the Idiroko area of Ogun State.  

It was learnt that Gasali moved to the community in 2016 from the Agbado area of the state after he allegedly defrauded another man. Shortly after he relocated to Owode, he reportedly struck a relationship with Faleti’s wife. In his interactions with the woman, he was said to have revealed some challenges facing the family which the wife confirmed to be true. He also reportedly told the woman that Faleti, who had been the supervisor of the filling station for years, was not promoted due to a spiritual misfortune and promised to neutralise the purported spell.  

Faleti had come home from work to spend the weekend when the wife informed him about her discussions with Gasali.  Our correspondent learnt that Faleti fell for Gasali’s tricks and started giving him money for spiritual assistance.

A police source said matters came to a head on November 7, 2016, when Gasali told Faleti that he (Faleti) needed a special prayer to curry favour with his boss and get promoted.  The source said, “He called Faleti on the telephone that day and told him to bring all the money they had made from sales. He said he would do a special prayer on the money and that he (Faleti) would be promoted to the post of the manager as soon as he remitted the money to his boss.  

“Faleti told him N4.2m was with him and he asked him to bring the money to a hotel around Apapa. They prayed together at the hotel room. When it was midnight, he gave the supervisor a fetish item and asked him to deposit it some distance away from the hotel. He threatened him that he would run mad if he looked back and told him not to return until he called him on the telephone. Meanwhile, Alfa had packed his belongings from his apartment in Owode to the hotel. He fled from the hotel before Faleti returned. That was when it dawned on him that he had been defrauded.”  

Another source said the station manager, Kayode Soetan, petitioned the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, on the case through a lawyer and a manhunt was launched for Gasali.  He was said to have been tracked down in his country house in Ikirun, Osun State, where he had reportedly used the money to build a bungalow.  He was reportedly preparing for the wedding of his daughter when the operatives picked him up in May 2017 and brought him to Lagos.  

Both Gasali and Faleti were arraigned on three counts bordering on fraud and stealing before the Tinubu Magistrate’s Court.  The police prosecutor, Inspector Nurudeen Thomas, told the court that the charges to which the accused pleaded not guilty were punishable under sections 314(1), 328 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015, The charges read in part, “That you, Taiye Gasali, Waheed Faleti, and others at large on November 7, 2016 in the Lagos Magisterial District, did conspire to commit felony, to wit: stealing and receiving stolen property.  “That you, Waheed Faleti, and others now at large, on the same date, time and place, in the aforementioned magisterial district, did steal the sum of N4.2m property of NIPCO Filling Station, Apapa, Lagos.  “That you, Taiye Gasali, and others at large, did dishonestly receive the sum of N4.2m from Waheed Faleti,  having reason to believe the same to be stolen property, thereby committing an offence punishable under Section 328 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”  

After about seven adjournments, the court, presided over by Chief Magistrate Ayeye, on Tuesday found Gasali guilty of counts one and three and sentenced him to three years’ imprisonment on each count. Ayeye pronounced Faleti guilty of the second count and handed down three months’ community service to him. The magistrate, however, ruled that Gasali should be set free from the prison if he was able to refund the money

Wife Set Her Husband’s New Mansion Ablaze (Her Reason Will Shock You)

A Nigerian wife has set fire to husband’s house as he intends to marry another woman a month after marrying her.

The angry wife, who is against her husband’s polygamous plan that is coming barely two months into their marriage, insisted that it is too early to bring another woman as wife into the family.

When the husband told her of his plans to remarry, she didn’t object, but she stated that he should at least wait for some time before he begins to harbour the thoughts of marrying a new wife.

The husband however refused to heed to the pleas of his wife and made known his intentions to go ahead with his plans.

According to a source, the husband, whose name was given as Yanusa, who is living very close to Ali Bagudo’s house, Badariya area, Birnin-Kebbi, lost his first wife last year and only married Aisha in February this year.

He said;

“Yunusa, who lost his first wife last year, married Aisha; but it seems that they are not on good terms. When her husband told her his intention to marry another woman, she got angry and set ablaze her husband’s house when he went out on Tuesday to his office.

It was gathered that family members came out to extinguish the inferno, and removed few of the husband’s property

Final Year First Class UNIBEN Student Commits Suicide

A 500-level Computer Engineering Student of the University of Benin, identified only as Adam, on Thursday evening, hanged himself inside his room.

According to reports from his close friend, Adam attended classes as usual that very day, returned home, charged his phone, washed his clothes, then went inside his room where he hanged himself within 20 minutes of locking the door.

His lifeless body was only discovered when his sister, who came from Ekenwa campus, forced the door open. The deceased is said to be a sufferer of Bipolar disorder (once known as manic depression or manic-depressive disorder).

The reason behind this action could be as a result of so many things but as we heard, he’s a first-class student, so academic backwardness isn’t really the reason

Two Sisters Impregnated By same Pastor (must read!!!)

A 41-year-old randy pastor (name withheld) of a new generation church in Ugbolu Community, near Asaba, Delta State, has allegedly put in family way, two sisters after conducting “Fake Deliverance” for them.

It was gathered that in 1998, the said pastor had, in Enugu State, allegedly committed same act when he was said to have slept with a mother and daughter during an all-night service, and was subsequently banished from the town after he was subjected to severe beating by angry church youths.

Sources said the two sisters, undergraduates of the National Open University, Asaba study centre (names withheld) had been regular visitors to the pastor’s church in the Community, and most times, attended his deliverance service before the bubble burst.

According to our informed sources, trouble started in December 2017 when the two sisters sought the pastor’s spiritual help for an undisclosed spiritual attack, a situation he allegedly respond to and hoodwinked them into doing deliverance during night fall, an offer the unsuspecting sisters willingly accepted without hesitation.

It was further gathered that the pastor allegedly “arranged” a room within the church premises where the two sisters, native of Asaba were ordered Unclad, and in the process, were offered water in a big bucket to bath with.

While the purported deliverance process lasted, the pastor, an insider said, suddenly went into uncontrollable act, leaving his manhood blown out of his white garment dress, and in a twinkle of an eye allegedly buried it into one of the victims vagina.

A member of the church Celestine Okoh, told our reporter that the lid of the pastor’s illicit and purported deliverance act was blown open last Sunday, during church service when the two sisters, in what appeared to be mild drama, stormed the church with some hired thugs and in a fit of fury, allegedly dragged the pastor out before they started beating and stoning him in the process.

In the melee, his church was set ablaze by the angry youths who also ensured that those who supported him were disgraced and beaten to stupor.

Man Arrested For Defiling 10-year-old Girl Claims He didn't force her

The Lagos State police command has arrested a man dentified simply as Adigun, for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl for over a year at Olorunkemi Street, Bariga, Newtelegraph reports.

It was learnt that Adigun had been having sex with the girl since she was just 9 years old and was in primary five. The suspect was alleged to have been defiling the girl since January 2017 without her parents noticing anything.

Adigun allegedly used to drag the girl into his apartment whenever she was going to mosque to pray about 6a.m. and defile her. The bubble was burst by a counsellor in the girl’s school.

It was learnt that the girl and her friends were playing a game, ‘truth or dare,’ when they asked themselves to swear if any man had had sex with them. Other girls said yes, but the victim simply kept mute. The counsellor became alerted.

The Coordinator for Child Protection Network, Toyin Okanlawon, who reported the matter, said: “She suddenly became calm when her friends asked her to swear.

That was what drew the attention of the counsellor, who asked her what the problem was. The victim opened up to her on how their neighbour had been having marathon sex with her for over a year.

Medical test later confirmed she had been abused. The suspect confessed at the police station that whenever he does not go to work, he would defile the minor.

Adigun’s family had been threatening the victim’s parents, which was why I took up the case. I want them to get justice. The suspect also claimed that the girl used to come to his room to seek assistance, that he didn’t force her.

When the victim told her mother about the abuse, she said the girl was talking nonsense because the rapist’s sister is a close friend to the victim’s mother.

Container crushes a child to death along Owerri Road, Onitsha

A female child was crushed to death by a 40ft container along Owerri Road, Onitsha, Anambra State on Tuesday morning

According to a Federal Road Safety official, PM Akpotobo, the container fell off from an articulated truck.

"RTC on 6th March 2018 @0830hrs on Owerri road, Onitsha. one (1) female child was killed & (1) person injured. A 40ft container fell from an articulated vehicle. Motorist are advised to give right of way to articulated vehicles especially on narrow Roads. Life has no duplicate. Safer Roads Fuller lives."

Scores feared dead as Youths clash with SARS officers in Anambra (SEE PHOTOS)

Many people are feared dead after youths in Umunze community in Orumba South local government area of Anambra state, clashed with men of the State Anti-Robbery squard SARS, over the weekend. According to reports, trouble started on the evening of Saturday March 3rd when a hilux car beloning to the SARS parked in front of a popular relaxation spot known as guzoro and started embarrassing some of the customers that were having drinks.

The umunze youths prevented the SARS officers from arresting any arrest anyone from the said joint. The SARS officers reportedly got angry and allegedly opened fire on the youths, killing five persons on the spot.

The youths in turn pounced on the officers killing one of the SARS men and set their vehicle ablaze while the other SARS officers escaped from the whiskers.

Woman Rakes In Thousands Selling Her Breast Milk To Men

A mother-of-two, Rafaela Lamprou is raking in thousands by selling her overflowing breast milk to men across the globe.

The married woman gave birth to her son, Anjelo seven months ago, and has since then been producing excess milk which she had no room to store.

Metro reports that she has ever since handed out over 502 litres of breast milk to strangers who pay thousands for it.

That means she has made an impressive $6,000 from her sales to men – and she plans to keep going.

The hotel worker – who also has a four-year-old daughter, Hailey – started by donating her milk to women who were struggling to produce breast milk for their babies.

She began sending it to the UK and within her home country of Cyprus and still donates her milk to women.

But the 24-year-old soon found that men were approaching her for the milk – either as part of their health regime or for fetish reasons. Now Rafaela, who lives with her husband Alex, 33, and their two kids, sends her milk out to the men for cash on a regular basis.

She said:-

“I gave birth to my son seven months ago. I had a lot of milk and I thought I needed to do something with it, so I started storing it.

“But it was too much – it was taking up all the chest freezer. It was full. I didn’t know what to do with it.

“So, I asked a couple of mums who were having trouble breast-feeding if they wanted it. I started giving it away.”

Rafaela continued: “I was producing over two litres of milk a day and giving it to women locally. Then I started shipping it to the UK.

“I liked seeing the new mums’ faces when I was able to help them. I then started to get some enquiries from men.

“It started with men who were interested in body building. They say it is good for building muscle mass.

“But then, I started to get enquiries from men with fetishes. Now I breastfeed on demand. I have no idea what they do with it, but they tell me they consume it.”

Rafaela said that at first, it was a ‘bit strange’ giving her breast milk to guys with fetishes – however, she’s okay with it as long as it doesn’t go any further in terms of asking her to show any part of her body, explaining that she’s “open minded.”

“I am not sure how much longer I will carry on for,” she continued. “I had no idea with my first baby that you could do this kind of thing. But now it is quite addictive.

“My husband is so supportive of me. He is really cool about it. He is happy as long as I am.”

Rafaela has started her own Facebook group to sell her breast milk, where people can approach her.

She is also on a website where men can approach her for the milk

Man Flogs His Wife With Belt For Slapping His Side Chic At Filmhouse

A married Nigerian man who took his ”young girlfriend” out on a movie date at Filmhouse got more than he bargained for after his wife showed up and created a scene.

According to an eye witness, the said wife trailed her husband and his alleged girlfriend to Filmhouse, Lekki, today, March 3rd 2018.

On getting there, she approached her husband’s vehicle and told the girlfriend to wind down the window after which she gave her two heavy slaps, asking her to step out of the vehicle while shouting ”He is a married man”.

Infuriated by his wife’s actions, the husband pulled out his belt and began flogging his wife with it. The wife ran back to her vehicle for safety and tried to drive out but her husband blocked her, asking her to return the SUV as he bought it for her.

LASTMA officials had to intervene to stop the husband from beating his wife further.
